‘Fort Blauwkapel’ is a unique historic location bordering the city of Utrecht. Elements of the old fortress are still prominently visible in the area. Together with RHAW Architecture, we designed a generous sunroom that fits the existing wooden house and the environment by using our unique window frame structure combining wood and steel. Architectural elements of the existing house are subtly mirrored in the design of the sunroom. The interior shows beautiful wooden lines creating a modern, yet warm, environment.
